Digital transformation enables digital solutions to traditional and online companies, creating meaningful shifts in customer usage such that the old ways of working are no longer viable. Digital transformation is a strategic inflection point, as defined by Andy Grove “a time period when an organisation must respond to disruptive change in the business environment effectively or face deterioration.”

Hiring a Chief Digital/Product Officer is now a norm amongst companies to kickstart the process of digital transformation. We will discuss the various stages of transformation, the Kubler Ross change curve, and your role as an executive within the company. Through various real-world examples like Amazon.com, Booking Holdings, Zynga, Rentalcars.com we will discuss the best ways to create, sustain and foster digital transformation such that it becomes part of the new DNA of the company.

Short Bio

Supriya Uchil is a product technology executive with 20 years of global experience at Amazon.com, Booking Holdings and Zynga. Supriya worked at Amazon.com in Seattle for 11 years, her last role was the technical advisor to the Sr Vice President of Amazon devices in 2014, the year that Amazon launched Echo, Phone, Tablets, Readers and Dash devices. Supriya was also the Chief Product Officer of Booking Go, responsible for the product transformation of the company from a car rental product to becoming the ground transportation division for Booking.com. Supriya is currently the CEO of Accelerate Product, a boutique product/digital strategy firm with clients in Europe and the Middle East.
